Timothy R. Hacquoil is a musician and music researcher from Sydney, Australia. 

He holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Music) from the University of Southern Queensland and a Master of Creative Industries from SAE University College. In 2025, Timothy was awarded a PhD scholarship as part of the Leverhulme Amplification Project at the University of Huddersfield where he is exploring the influence of amplification type on electric guitar composition.
